The Poetry of Money
Local poet/author Christopher Locke Chris will discuss how grants support artists to complete their work and lift up artists in general so they can focus on their creative process without having to worry (too much) about financial constraints. Chris will also share new poems he wrote during his current grant period.
Locke is a two-time recipient of ADK SCR Individual Artist Grant, co sponsored by NYSCA, including one in poetry for 2025-26. He’s also been awarded grants in poetry from the Massachusetts Cultural Council and The New Hampshire State Council on the Arts.
