Local author Sarah van Rijsewijk invites readers to celebrate her brand new, heartwarming debut children’s book, Santa and the Sled Dogs. This enchanting “tail,” deeply inspired by the Adirondack wilderness and Sarah’s personal journey, follows a North Country family and their sled dog team as they come to Santa’s aid for his yearly Christmas delivery.
This storytime, during the Westport Winter Festival, will also feature a real dog sled, complete with plush Malamutes! We will also have crafts for kids and holiday treats for all ages.
