Food
The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, plates, and utensils. Let us know if you have any dietary restrictions, as we’d like to provide some breakfast food like eggs, milk, butter, yogurt, oats and some delicious breads when available. We’d also love to host you at a community dinner at some point that we’ll decide on together before your arrival (if you’d like). Otherwise, you will provide for your own meals during your stay. Note the list of area recommendations below.
As far as the pantry food, you’re welcome to help yourself to anything you can find.
Amenities & Extras
Hairdryer: In the bathroom drawer
Iron & extra linens, including sheets and a pillow for the foldout loveseat are in the wall cabinet next to the writing desk in the living room.
Entertainment & Comfort
TV: There’s a TV in the apartment—let us know if you’d like us to remove it before you arrive! Feel free to log into your own streaming apps or use the ones that are already set up.
Books: We’ve curated a selection of books that you might be interested in, based on what we know about your project. Find them on the shelf next to the writing desk in the living room, and feel free to read them gently, like library books. You’ll find one there called The Dirty Life by Kristin Kimball—a favorite if you’re curious about the vibrant farming scene here in Essex County. If you see a book you’d like to take with you when you leave, just let us know and we’ll happily arrange payment.
Games: In the bottom shelf of the kitchen dresser/counter unit.
We hope you’ll sign our guestbook!
