On Tuesday night we had a reading featuring three writers: Lauren McGovern, Chelsea Dodds, and Joan Lilly.

Although all of them read work about difficult, grievous events in their lives, the reading was notably warm, inviting, even somehow lighthearted.
Joan’s book was hot off the press. She read about losing her hair after cancer treatment, and it was uproarious. Watch her reading here:
